What a great-looking 2008 Ducati Hypermotard 1100 S! I have had the pleasure of plenty of saddle time on these when they were new, even a few laps around the famous Laguna Seca, these are a very capable machine. This one was sold to its original owner out of my former shop Ducati Seattle. Without a doubt, this is one of the cleanest nicest running Hyper we have seen in many years. We could find no signs of tip over, neglect, or abuse, this is very clean Hyper. Our service techs were given the ok to bring all the services up to date in addition to a new battery and fresh Dunlop Mutant tires. It is rare to find one that hasn't been heavily modified or been on the ground, this one still has the cool flip-out original mirrors. The only modification was the addition of a Ducati Performance rack and tail bag and we have the stock spoiler and hardware that was removed to fit the rack. Service was performed at the dealership early on, but it has been parked for the last few years. The previous service records could not be obtained as the dealership closed in 2019.

Given the capabilities of the Hypermotard 1100 S, superior braking is essential. The bike employs the same Brembo Monobloc calipers first introduced on the 1098 Superbike, guaranteeing world-class braking performance. Each caliper is crafted from a single casting for rigid, flex-free operation, providing a consistent, solid feel at the lever. The machine-finished calipers complement the 'S' aesthetic perfectly.
Professional racers understand that enhancing a motorcycle’s handling and performance involves reducing unsprung weight. The black Marchesini wheels with red pin-stripes on the 'S' underscore its performance pedigree. Forged and machined from alloy, these wheels are significantly lighter, reducing inertia and unsprung weight for better handling and quicker steering. These wheels are paired with Z-rated Pirelli Diablo Corsa III tires, which are designed for racing performance on the road. They warm up quickly, offer excellent feedback, remain stable under intense braking, and feature dual-compound construction on the rear.
The 'S' model's lightweight performance and striking look are further emphasized by extensive use of carbon fiber. This advanced material is used for the fork protectors, timing belt covers, front fender rear section, and tail side covers.
