The relationship between two objects is termed as Association. In particular when one object owns another object, then that association is called as Composition, but when one object uses another object then that association is called as Aggregation.

Associations are specified by adding an element to a source entity with an association type that points to a target entity, complemented by optional information defining cardinality and which keys to use. Note CDS supports both managed and unmanaged associations.
