In this fifth and last of our Project Invoice in Excel we will develop a macro VBA step by step which will help us to send the PDF of the invoice by email. But first we will modify the macro that generates new invoices and we will indicate that when saving the invoice data in the Invoice detail sheet, also save the full path of the generated PDF file and so the Send mail macro will take that address and the name of the PDF files to attach them in an email. You must have Outlook Office installed on your PC for the macro to work.
The advantage of this macro is that if you have several accounts configured in Outlook, you can choose which one to send the PDF file of the invoice.
I must give you some clarifications that you must take into account to use the macro to send Emails.
We will use Office Outlook to send the emails.
◾We must activate a reference to the same Outlook.
We can attach any file in the mail.
◾ If you have several accounts configured in your Outlook, you can decide which one the invoice will be sent to.
