In this clip we dive into 2D projectile motion to understand how it works. We'll use an example of a ball shot out of a cannon and look at the x motion (horizontal motion) and the y motion (vertical motion), see how the positions and velocities are changing, and relate it to 1D projectile motion or free fall. We'll also talk about the difference between the horizontal and vertical motions, which is the acceleration due to gravity.
