An Astronomer Hikes Mt. Yale
I have finally been able to collate my pictures and videos from my hike(s) of Mt. Yale. I first attempted Yale in July of 2020, making it to the saddle point below the summit, but it was 4:00 PM and weather was turning, so I descended. I tried again Aug. 3rd of 2023, but again got a later start than intended and turned around due to weather at 13,100 ft. Finally on Sept. 3rd, 2023, I summited. The weather was slightly dicey, but the summit was well worth it. The summit views are some of my favorite so far that I've seen. This video is a compilation of pictures and videos of both the Aug. 3rd and Sept. 3rd hikes.
