How to fix infinite load on Apex Legends [PS4]

Unfortunately found this fix a little too late, the game works fine on other accounts on my ps4 so I just played on my other and reached high levels there plus unlocked mirage which was a bit of a grind. Hope this helps you though.

Word form:
1) start apex
2) Wait for infinite load
3) go to settings — network settings
4) disable internet connection box
5) re open the game for a bit (probably not needed but I’ve tested it out like this)
6) go back to the settings and reticle box
