Here is a look at the design process for a custom insert for the LEGO Pop-Up Book set. Turn on captions for some insight into the design process.

This insert is a Nativity Scene, including baby Jesus in his manger, several farm animals, a detailed stable and the three wise men in the foreground. The star of Bethlehem also rises up as you open the book.

A huge thanks to Jim from New Zealand for suggesting this idea for an insert. Given the time of year, I thought it would be a great idea to try.
