What's up, guy's. It's Marcan. In today's Paragon guide, I will be bringing you GRIM.exe. Now before we get started, if this is your first visit to my channel, make sure you subscribe. I have a lot more videos like this and focus mainly on beginner guides for Paragon. I upload twice a week, so make sure you don't miss out!

Grim is an awesome ranger with a unique design. He actually controls a robot that does all the attacking for him. He is also an energy based ranger, which means all of his attacks scale off of energy damage, instead of physical damage. Let's get into his abilities.

Grim's passive is called Overcharge. Every 8 seconds, Grim's next basic attack deals bonus damage and shreds energy armor. This truly is a passive ability. You literally have to do nothing to take advantage of this. Every 8 seconds, you just do more damage. You should play around this during laning and try to always harass you lane opponent whenever Overcharge is active.

Grim's Right Click ability is called Deflector Shield. This ability is awesome. It can literally change the fate of team fights, which, in turn, could change the outcome of the whole game. He activates a shield that lasts a few seconds, blocking the next incoming ability. Also, if the block is successful, Grim gains back some mana. Deflector shield is one of Grim's most important abilities to use correctly. Time this correctly to block a stun or any type of CC and you can turn around and start destroying the enemy team.

Grim's Q ability is called Displacement Blast. He lobs an orb at a target area. The orb damages enemies and knocks them away from the center of the blast. This ability is fantastic. It can be used offensively to separate heroes away from their team or defensively to get yourself out of bad situations. If you come up to an enemy that is alone and farming, throw Displacement Blast behind them to knock them towards you and make it almost impossible for them to escape. You can also use Displacement Blast to get away from ganks with almost no effort at all. The blast is pretty big, so it's fairly easy to hit enemy heroes with it.

Grim's E is called Suppression Mode. This is a toggle ability, meaning you can turn it on or off. When Suppression mode is toggled on, Grim's basic attacks apply a slow on hit. However, whenever you attack with it toggled on, it costs mana every shot you take. If you're not careful, you can completely drain your mana pool without even realizing it. This is an awesome ability for chasing the enemy team as it allows you to close the gap on them very easily.

Grim's R ability, or Ultimate is called GTFO. Yep. GTFO. He locks onto an enemy hero and after a short period of time fires a homing orb that follows the target. The GTFO also passes through terrain and non hero units. This ult is a lot of fun to use. If an enemy thinks they are in the clear, just lock on with the GTFO and watch them explode. Even if they try to hide behind cover, the orb will go right through it, and crush them. I can just imagine the rage boiling up.

As I said earlier, GRIM is actually an energy damage hero so you'll want to build energy damage cards. I prefer to the route of energy damage with attack speed and crit as well. I feel like this is a great mix to maximize Grim's kit.

GRIM is an extremely fun hero to play. He may not be the most mobile hero out there, but his abilities allow him to escape any bad situation you find yourself caught in. He is also great for chasing and just overall, a great hero. Let me know what you think of Grim in the comments below. Again, if you haven't subscribed, make sure you do so you don't miss future guides and highlight vids. If there is a certain hero that you would like to see a guide on, let me know in the comments below. Thank you for watching, guys and as always, stay active.
