How to install VST plugins in Audacity. It's very simple to do and works with Windows, Mac, and Linux. If you want to use new effects in Audacity (which I recommend since Audacity doesn't have the best effects in the world) then here's a simple way to do it.

To install new VST effects, place them in the "Plug-Ins" folder inside the Audacity installation folder. On Windows, this is usually under Program Files (or Program Files (x86) on 64-bit Windows). On Mac OS X, it is usually in the "/Applications" folder.
