🔄 Study area: lumbar spine. Sequences with fat-suppression were not presented, which made it difficult to interpret the results of the study.
Lumbar lordosis is straightened, tendency to form kyphotic deformity with vertex at L1-L2. MR signs of dystrophic changes in the form of decreased intensity of MR signal from intervertebral discs in segments L1-S1 on T2-VI were detected.
Transverse processes of L5 are elongated, apparently forming additional joints with sacrum. Intervertebral discs of the lumbar spine, circularly irregularly extending beyond the vertebral bodies, including posteriorly:
L5-S1 dorsal diffuse protrusion of 2 mm with evidence of anterior subarachnoid space and intervertebral compression.
The anteroposterior size of the spinal canal at this level was 16 mm.

CONCLUSION: MRI picture of degenerative-dystrophic changes, kyphotic deformity of the lumbar spine, intervertebral hernias: L3-L4, L4-L5, intervertebral disc protrusion: L5-S1, sacralization of L5.
Recommended MRI by conventional technique (using sequences with fat-suppression), CT scan to clarify the degree of L5 sacralization, consultation with a neurologist.

"The study is poorly done - no sequences with fat suppression.
You can tell that there are a couple of small hernias, they squeeze the nerve roots and give you pain.
There is a curvature of the spinal column to the back, which disturbs its normal position and gives discomfort in the back. With this you need to see a neurologist.
There is also an abnormality in the development of the 5th vertebra, it is connected with the sacrum by additional joints - this limits mobility.
To clarify this point you need a CT scan, the MRI does not show it well.
