To Disable News and Interests Widget from Taskbar in Windows 10 that appear after your recent update follow these steps:
Right Click on blank area of taskbar – “News and Interest” – “Turn Off”.
To enable the same, go to the same location and select any other one option from “Show icon and text” or “Show icon only”.
