To Fix Failed to Connect to A Windows Service Error in Windows 10 , Windows 7 and Windows 8, here are two methods:
Method 1 :
Open the services window and locate ‘System Event Notification Service’ and also the ‘COM+Event System’ service , Stop both of them and then change their ‘Startup Type’ as ‘Automatic’ , click ‘Apply’ – – ‘Start’ – ‘OK’ and then restart your system.
Method 2:
Open the command prompt admin as shown in the video, type the command:
netsh winsock reset
and hit ‘Enter key’ – and then restart your computer.
