RIP Sid Haig who is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the poster boys for the genre and style of movie that our channel is all about. Haig has an incredible backlog of movies that typify the exploitation movie. With a unique physical presence, a wild sense of humor, and magnetic charisma, Sid Haig was one of those actors that immediately made you feel a sense of comfort when seeing them on-screen, pretty much guaranteeing a crazy and sleazy good time lay ahead.
Thanks for the memories Sid, we will watch your work in perpetuity.
HD TV Trailer for one of Haig's best films/performances, The Big Bird Cage, which sees a group of women prisoners revolt in a Filipino work camp. Includes Anitra Ford looking stoned-as-fuck, Pam Grier in full badass mode, and Haig as a half-ass revolutionary who goes "undercover gay", with expectedly offensive results. A fantastic example of the genre.
