Imagine that 1 second represents 120 trillion years, which is roughly the time it will take for the last stars to die out. How would the universe look like on this time scale? How long would it take for the universe to reach its final state? And what would that state be?

In this video, we will explore the ultimate fate of the universe. We will see how stars are born and die, how the universe will become darker and colder over time, and how long it will take for everything to decay and disappear. We will also see how brief and rare the existence of stars is compared to the rest of the cosmic history.
