Apple WWDC 2023: Everything Apple Launched In 3 Minutes!
Apple has just wrapped up its WWDC 2023 keynote, where it announced a host of new products, including the much-hyped Apple Vision Pro headset, new Macs, and software updates ranging from iOS 17 to the new MacOS Sonoma.
Apple Vision Pro is the company’s first new product line in years, following the launch of the Apple Watch in 2015. The iPhone maker claims that it is a ‘spatial computer’—designed to blend the digital with the physical world—while staying present and aware of their surroundings. It will be available in the US from $3499.
The iPhone maker has also launched new Mac Studio and Mac Pro with M2 Max and M2 Ultra chips in India. The Mac Studio is up to 6x faster than the most powerful Intel-based 27-inch iMac, and up to 3x faster than the previous-generation Mac Studio with M1 Ultra, the company said.
There's also a new MacBook Air laptop with a 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display, an M2 chip, up to 18 hours of battery life, and a six-speaker sound system and much more. The 15-inch MacBook Air with M2 chip, is available in midnight, starlight, silver, and space gray colours and the price in India starts at Rs 1,34,900 and Rs 1,24,900 for education. The MacBook Air with M2 is available to order and will arrive to customers, and in Apple Store locations and Apple Authorized Resellers, from June 13.
macOS 14 Sonoma is the new release for Mac users this year. The platform gets all the updates that you saw with Messages, Siri, FaceTime on iOS and iPadOS. Widgets on macOS will now be available on the desktop itself and you can change their position.
In iPadOS 17, PDFs now support auto-fill through the use of generative AI. With the Apple Pencil, you can edit the details of PDFs, access them through the Notes app, and make changes with the help of pointers. Furthermore, the Notes app offers live collaborations for text and image editing, allowing two people to work together.
iOS 17 will finally let you share location with a friend and allow them to track your position without breaking encryption. iMessage also gets in-line location feature, and more customisations for filters.
