10 Years Muziekpublique | Ben El Khadir & Mina Kanto: improvisation
In this video, we find on one side the majestic ney player, Houssem Ben El Khadhi, a member of Med Orchestra and on the otherside the very skilled percussionist, Mina Kanto. It is in the halls of the Molière theater that the duo met, during one of the evenings of "Monde en scène". Together, Houssem playing and Mina playing cajon, and before the cameras of A Song a Day, they improvised a song as an appetizer that leaves us hungry for their future collaboration. Like any new project, theirs is fresh and spontaneous. Features that we hope at Muziekpublique, will not leave them any time soon.

Dans cette vidéo, on retrouve d'un côté le majestueux joueur de ney, Houssem Ben El Khadhi membre de Med Orchestra et de l'autre l'habile percussionniste, Mina Kanto. C'est dans les couloirs du théâtre Molière que le duo s'est rencontré, lors d'une des soirées « Monde en scène ». Ensemble, Houssem au kawal et Mina au cajon, et sous les caméras de A Song a Day, ils improvisent un morceau tel une mise en bouche qui nous laisse sur notre faim quant à leur futur collaboration. Comme tout projet naissant le leur respire la fraicheur et la spontanéité. Des caractéristiques qui l'on espère, chez Muziekpublique, ne les quitteront pas de si tôt.

In deze video krijgen we de majesteuze ney-speler Houssem Ben El Khadir te zien. Houssem is actief bij "Med Orchestra'" maar wordt hier voor de gelegenheid begeleid door de getalenteerde Mina Kanto. Hun ontmoeting vond plaats in de gangen van ons Molière theater, tijdens "Mondes en Scène", waardoor ze samen zijn gaan spelen. De tiende verjaardag van Muziekpublique vieren ze door een frisse improvisatie te brengen op het podium, die ons enkel doet snakken naar meer.
