Today's video is another experiment in my studio workshop. I keep making honey barrels and this time it's a honey barrel made of segment rings. Part one, and this is actually this video, will be devoted not to turning as such, but to the preparatory stage, namely: I will tell you how I make segment rings. It would seem that there is nothing complicated, cut and glue, but as always, there are nuances.
At the same time, it is worth noting that I do not have simple segments, but with inserts made of oak veneer, which in my opinion should give the finished product an additional resemblance to glued barrels made of boards.
