I found one day that I didn't have 5.1 coming from my optical cable on my pc. So, many hours later I found a fix and want to share. Let me know if this does or doesn't work for you goonies
Google was acting up so I switched to mega and zipped the files: https://mega.nz/#!dspwjCZD!VnaWHk_9Xg...
If you have troubles with realtek getting stuck in an update loop you can attempt https://www.gfisk.com/realtek-audio-d...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My directions
1) uninstall current realtek drivers
2) download the zip file
3) unzip drive folder to pc
4) start the patch, it will ask you to select a file. select the file DLLs rltkAPO64.DLL Click patch. repeat the process by selecting the rltkAPO.DLL file.
5) install the drivers by clicking on setup.exe
6) during installation confirm the installation of unauthorized driver
7) the installation is finished, restart your computer.
