Creating a folder in Google Docs means organizing your documents by placing them into specific folder within Google Drive.
By categorizing your files into folders, you can quickly find the documents you need without sifting through a long list of files.
🔶STEPS🔶
To create a folder in Google Docs;
1. Open Google Docs on your computer or mobile device.
2. Create a new document or open an existing one.
3. Now, rename your document and set a name for this file.
4. Write something in your document.
5. From the top of the screen, click on the move icon.
6. In the mobile app, tap on the three dots at the top of the screen and select Move from the menu.
8. A pop-up screen appears. Click on the My Drive button.
9. You will see an icon to create a new folder. Click on it.
10. Set the name of the folder and click the Create button.
Finally, tap on the Move button to add your docs file to your new folder.
Remember that this folder is created in your Google Drive, so to view it, you need to open Google Drive on your computer or mobile device.
Once you are in Google Drive, click on My Drive from the left side of the screen and select your folder.
