A common issue many students run into is that of not having access to Visual Studio due to running on Mac or Linux in the C++ classes. In this lesson, I'll be integrating the Python interpreter into C++ with CMake. By the end, it should work on Mac, Linux, and Windows.
This guide is offered as a Mac / Linux alternative to that provided by the SNHU curriculum which will allow you to do your development in a truly cross-platform way.
Disclaimer: I specifically asked my instructor whether CMake projects were acceptable and he is allowing them. I would check with your specific instructor to make certain. If CMake projects are not acceptable, I will be making a guide on how to use Apporto to generate visual studio projects from CMake.
