How to remove the green screen using Gimp
Here is a quick tutorial on how to remove the green screen from an image using the free imaging software Gimp.
Also it shows how to put the background image on once you have removed the green screen.
This technique can come in particularly useful if you need to create thumbnails for Youtube or make yourself stand out on a background that you can import when you can't actually get the background that you want when taking the initial photograph.
