The UK will spend an additional £75bn on defence over the next six years in an attempt to counter the rising threat from Russia, China and Iran.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said 2.5% of Britain's GDP would be spent on defence, putting the industry on a war footing.
Mr Sunak said the action was needed because authoritarian regimes were acting together to further their interests.
