December 10, 2019. The Barclays Center, America’s most titled venue in the heart of New York, has featured the best of the best in the world. And now on the wall of the Barclays Center Walk of Fame there is a photo of a young guy from Kazakhstan whose dream came true that evening. Dimash Kudaibergen held his first recital in America with a full house. People from different countries gathered in the concert hall, singing songs in Kazakh, Chinese, English and Russian. This phenomenon will forever remain in history, and in the place with it those people who were involved in the creation of the grand show.
All of you remember the magnificent song “Olimpico” and the brilliant outfits in which Dimash performed that evening. But few people know the heroes who invested all their talent so that that evening would sparkle with bright colors.
In this program I will talk about two heroines, whose work and talent must be noted. This is the poetess and author of the text of one of my favorite songs by Dimash “Olimpico” - Lilia Vinogradova and the designer of fantastic costumes of the New York concert Arnau 2019 - Leka.
