Hard to categorize far out recording bordering in the pop-psych/ lounge orchestration territory complete with hip jazz flourishes and vox.
Did I mention up-front Latin Percussion thrown in the mix?
True weirdness!
Danny's songs are certainly of the late 60's vibe, but was ultimately filed under the no commercial potential category, except perhaps for the last song, Chasin the Dragon, which could've been featured in a Scooby Doo episode.
With this said, the album as a whole is still an interesting listen and sheds light into a time when experimentation was encouraged.
Recorded on a Sony PS-X7 with a Shure V15 Type IV cartridge for the ultimate fidelity.
