Over the years I've done this a few times. there comes a time when it's appropriate to harvest the remainder of parts from the Donor and strip it down to the shell. Then the shell can go out for recycling.
no matter how many times I do this I still get a little sad to see them get chopped up. This one got in a pretty bad rear-end collision that bent it up too much to get repaired. but the parts will live on in many ways. Especially the Betsy Ross XJ.
