Forensic Notes is highly integrated with Microsoft Azure, a leader in online secure hosting which meets a broad set of international and industry-specific standards.
To properly safeguard your information, we incorporate best-practice recommendations including the use of industry leading organizations for password and payment information management.
To protect your privacy and the information you enter, every note is encrypted with a UNIQUE 256-bit symmetric encryption key.
This unique encryption key is then encrypted with a 2048-bit asymmetric encryption key which is stored in an Azure Key Vault HSM.
In order to decrypt and read a note or attachment, the unique encryption key for the selected note MUST be decrypted within the Key Vault which documents every decryption request.
Simply put…Your data is encrypted and safe.
If you require further control over your encryption keys, this is possible with On-Premises or Professional+ accounts.
