This is the easiest way to root your galaxy s4 running android lollipop 5.0.1. Subscribe for more how to videos! Now it works without any problems! Works for both models (GT-i9500 and GT-i9505)

After rooting your device you need to download the root checker from google play store to check that your device is rooted. After rooting you will notice a new app called superSU. If not download it from google play store. And there you will get started.
