Artist Biography: Through the power of their own songs, whose range broadens and over boils with rage, burning with anger and addicting energy right up to soft and touching emotions like grief, loneliness or love, the band manages to carry you off with a flood of euphoria. Their music grabs you like a flowing stream, pushes you like a forceful river, and then pulls you under like a strong ocean current, leaving you with the moving memories of having been comforted and confronted in a single, yet mighty journey.
They moved their way up from a local Bielefeld, Germany band to an underground group that now convinces its audience in clubs such as the "Backstage" in Munich, and the "Nachtleben" in Frankfurt. Where most bands pause and then fade away, Soulbound goes a step further, shining new light on heavy metal with their anthem titled album „Towards the Sun." With a symbiosis of Swedish sounds, elements of rock and melodic death metal they capture the souls of their fans, who identify themselves with the musical message, becoming an all-encompassing, massive unit. For this reason these musicians glorify the value of their sounds' sustainability and the energy that will still give off heat for a long time to come.
Their first single and video "Halloween" released from their debut CD "Towards the Sun" provides their excited viewing and listening audience with hard riffs, gripping melodies and an vast and electrifying stage presence. That's the message Soulbound is coloring on their fans. It's a simple but yet strong statement which is brought to life by award-winning director Marcus Overbeck who created the live DVD of the female fronted metal gods 'Arch Enemy'. In an 12.000 square metres wide exhibition hall back in March 2013, Soulbound, Marcus and his crew from 'Filmefahrer Pictures' created a monster which was released on the 8th of August.
