Embed Google Maps In WordPress Without A Plugin - Showcase Your Locations | WP Learning Lab
In this tutorial you will learn how to integrate Google Maps with your site without using a WordPress Plugin.
To get started go to maps.google.com and type in your address in the address field.
Adjust your zoom level, choose the map type, and other options you want to set. When you embed the map it will contain the exact settings that you choose now.
Once you have all your settings customized click on the three line stack to the left of the address bar. Then choose the Embed option. In the window that opens click on the Embed tab and choose the map size you would like.
Once you have the right size map copy the code and open your WordPress dashboard.
Paste the embed code into any location that you want the map to appear. This can be in a page or a post or in a sidebar widget or in your footer or in a mega menu. There are a lot of options for where you can place a map.
