This video shows a way to record/part of your screen for Zoom meetings. (Zoom has this feature built in--but this may give more control if needed or if you don't pay for the extra features).
Also if you use a translator/ interpreter for a zoom meeting, here are some steps that I use based on this video:
Step 1: Set up google hangout
(or another zoom meeting could work)
Step 2: Open Zoom Meeting that you want translated
(DO NOT CONNECT WITH COMPUTER AUDIO)This will let you
watch but not hear the zoom meeting
Step 3: Have the translator Connect to google hangouts with you
and zoom meeting-- With their mic muted in Zoom--
but the mic should NOT not be muted in hangouts.
Step 4: choose the zoom window--as this video demonstrated
and record the system audio which will be the
translators /interpreters voice with
the video of the zoom meeting.
Experiment before actually having to do it live, troubleshooting is much easier when the meeting isn't happening.
