'Armored Core VI (6)' - My Reaction
AC fan since 'Armored Core 2', with the peak being at 'Armored Core: Silent Line', Late-3rd-Generation wasn't as good as the previous mentioned. 4th-Generation returned fast-paced but too much relying on the quick-boost-spamming.
After watching the cinematic trailer, it does look action packed, but I do not want them to do the same with this game as they did with 'Armored Core V'/'Verdict Day'. ACV did not feel like an Armored Core game, it focused more on tactics and Chess rather than skill and having certain weapons/abilities. The "back weapons" are still returning to being hand weapons which is how it was with ACV.
There's also beliefs that it will just be Elden Ring with an AC-skin on it, that would be lousy if they don't do it right.
Two things do give my hopes up, firstly it is the first Armored-Core game getting an OFFICIAL PC/Steam release, the second thing is that this game is being directed by the SAME PERSON that directed Armored-Core-4 (and NOT Armored Core 5/V) which is good.
