Brăila is a city located in the southeastern part of Romania. It was an important commercial port in the 19th century, and during that time, it was a cosmopolitan city with Greek, Jewish, Turkish, and Armenian influences.

The city lies along the Danube River, and its riverside promenade is one of the most pleasant areas for walking and relaxation. The main streets of Brăila are circular, all leading towards the Danube — an urban layout that is rare in Romania.

Brăila is definitely a city worth exploring and discovering!
