How to convert Illustrator CS6 files to Photoshop CS6 files

How to convert Adobe Illustrator files to Adobe Photoshop files (.AI to .PSD)
1. Open file in Illustrator (.AI)
2. Click on File, then Export
3. Save as type: Photoshop (*.PSD)
4. Click Export*
5. Choose Export Options
6. Open with Photoshop
*Be sure to choose Write Layers if you would like to have more editing flexibility when working in Photoshop.
This example was done using Adobe Illustrator CS6 Version 17.1.0 and Adobe Photoshop CS6 Version 14.2. The method for exporting files from Illustrator to Photoshop has remained unchanged for many years. So, don't worry if you have a different version. There is a good chance it will work the same way.Thanks for watching
