Now XAMPP is a free and open-source cross-platform web server solution stack package developed by Apache Friends, consisting mainly of the Apache HTTP Server, MariaDB database.

Now how to solve this issue? We can solve this using these 6 easy steps...

Step 1: Click on config, then the Service and Port Settings button. This will open the Service Settings window popup.

Step 2: Switch to the MySQL tab, and update the Main Port number to 3307. And then simply click on the save button.

Step 3: Now click on the config button adjacent to MySQL, and click on my.ini. This will open ini file on Notepad.

Step 4: Now modify the file by replacing the "3306" port numbers with "3307" and save the file.

Step 5: That's all... And there you go! Your problem was Solved!! Now if you Start MySQL from the XAMPP control panel it should be starting properly!
