Configuring GNS3 and GNS3 VM for Cisco IOSv
These setup instructions are created using GNS version 2.2.8. All software and files can be accessed from http://tinyurl.com/ttlsw
(VMWare Workstation 14 and GNS3 folders)
1. Download and install GNS3 using default settings (GNS3‐2.2.8‐all‐in‐one‐regular)
2. Download and install VMWare Workstation (VMware‐workstation‐full‐14.1.2‐8497320)
a. License file is in the directory
3. Download and install the GNS3 VM 2.2.8 (GNS3 VM 2.2.8.ova)
IOSv files are available as well.
