रानी माँ के पति की हत्या पड़ोसी राज्य के दुष्ट प्रधान मंत्री मान सिंह ने कर दी है। प्रधान मंत्री इस हत्या से खुद को मुक्त कर लेते हैं और इसका दोष राजकुमारी विशाखा के पिता राजा पर मढ़ देते हैं। रानी माँ राजकुमारी से मौत का बदला लेने की कसम खाती है। मान सिंह का एक जुड़वा भाई सुरजन सिंह भी है, जो थोड़ा सा भोला होने के बावजूद बिल्कुल भी बुरा नहीं है। रानी मां तब हैरान और हैरान रह जाती हैं जब उन्हें पता चलता है कि उनका इकलौता बेटा राजकुमार, राजकुमारी से प्यार करता है। वह इस शादी का विरोध करने के लिए तैयार हो जाती है, जबकि राजकुमार राजकुमारी से शादी करने में कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ेगा। माँ और बेटे के लिए यह तय करने के लिए मंच तैयार है कि क्या परिवार में किसी ऐसे व्यक्ति को शामिल करना उनके हित में है जिसने क्रमशः एक पति और एक पिता की हत्या की है।
Rani Maa's husband is killed by the neighbouring kingdom's evil Prime Minister Man Singh. The Prime Minister absolves himself from this killing and blames it on the king, the father of Rajkumari Vishaka. Rani Maa swears to avenge the death against the Rajkumari. Man Singh also has a twin brother, Surjan Singh, who is not evil at all, albeit a little naive. Rani Maa is shocked and aghast when she finds out that her only son, Rajkumar is in love with Rajkumari. She sets out to oppose this marriage, while Rajkumar will leave no stone unturned to marry Rajkumari. The stage is set for mother and son to decide whether it is in their best interest to include someone in the family who has killed a husband and a father respectively.
