Preparing and installing macOS 11 Big Sur
I deliberately released this video 2 weeks after the official release of macOS Big Sur, as it is better to wait a bit and not update immediately after the release.
There are two reasons for this:
1. Apple servers, as a rule, are overloaded due to the influx of those wishing to be updated one of the first;
2. macOS 11 Big Sur is a really big update to the operating system, so there may be plenty of misunderstandings Apple has yet to sort out. It is not for nothing that so many beta versions came out.
Moreover, at the start there is a lot of software that is not adapted to the new interface. This will be immediately visible even in the application selection menu: the new icons will be the same in shape, the old ones will be completely different.
Chances are good that not particularly new devices will be extremely slow. The new version of the system has plenty of effects and visual elements that can significantly load the system.
And only now, on December 1, the first day of winter (with which I congratulate you all), I can safely recommend the latest version of macOS 11.0.1 for installation to everyone.
