CW39 HOUSTON | Concacaf Gold Cup: Mexico beats Honduras 4-0 - Sharron Melton
Last night at NRG stadium, Mexico scored 4 goals against Honduras, taking the win 4 to 0 in the second group B match of the group stage of the Concacaf Gold Cup. This is the first victory for debuting head coach for Mexico Jaime Lozano. Less than a minute into the game, Luis Romo scored the third and fastest goal in the history of the Gold Cup. He then scored again at minute 23. Orbelín Pined scored the third goal at the second half of the game and Luis Chavez marked the fourth at minute 64. Mexico returns to the field Thursday to face Haiti.
