Aditya-L1 Solar Mission: After scripting history with it’s moon landing, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is now set to commence another ambitious mission — Aditya-L1 — which will be India’s first expedition to the Sun.
ISRO Chief S Somnath said that the countdown for the start of the mission begins as the Aditya-L1 Solar Mission is all set for a launch on September 2 at 11.50 a.m. from the Sriharikota spaceport.
The Sun mission will take 125 days to reach the exact radius, ISRO said.
