I will also explain how to create a Drawing in A4 Paper size in Autocad. please watch the whole video then you try to practice the concept after that you will create final drawing for presentation on your boss.
1.Open AutoCAD:
Launch AutoCAD on your computer.
2.Create a New Drawing:
Start a new drawing by selecting the "New" option from the File menu or by typing the "NEW" command in the command line.
3.Set Units:
Before you begin drawing, ensure that your units are set correctly. For A4 paper size, you'll typically use metric units. To set the units, type the "UNITS" command and select the appropriate units, such as millimeters or centimeters.
4.Set Drawing Limits:
Set the drawing limits to match the dimensions of an A4 paper. The dimensions of an A4 paper are approximately 210mm x 297mm. To set the drawing limits, type the "LIMITS" command and enter the desired dimensions.
5.Seale Factor:
A scale of "2:1" is a ratio used to indicate the relationship between measurements in a drawing and the corresponding measurements in the real world. In this context, the first number (2) represents the measurement on the drawing, and the second number (1) represents the measurement in the real world.
When you see a scale of "2:1," it means that every unit of measurement on the drawing represents two units of measurement in the actual physical world. This is also commonly expressed as "1 unit on the drawing equals 2 units in reality." In other words, objects in the drawing are being represented at twice their actual size.
For example, if you draw a line that is 1 unit long on the drawing using a scale of 2:1, that line would represent a length of 2 units in the real world. Similarly, any dimensions, shapes, or objects you draw would be scaled up by a factor of 2.
