This island is just one stop on the way to the great pacific garbage patch. Seeing all this garbage when I first moved here is what inspired me to reduce my waste.
I also talk about the importance of reducing waste and why we should not be contributing to the problem in the first place. We can all do our part to protect our oceans and reduce single-use consumption.
