When you run out of something you have used up the entire supply.

There is nothing available to use if you run out of something.

I often run out of time to get everything done in a day 🕰

The worst example of this is when you pour a bowl of cereal 🥣 only to find out that you have run out of milk 🥛 😭

The only other example that is just as pleasant is if you run out of toilet paper 🧻 🧻 🧻 🚽 ☠️
