Introducing the New ELT Experiences Community Membership
Hi all! I am so pleased to announce the new ELT Experiences Community Membership to all.
Over the past few months, I have been thinking more about helping other language tutors. Initially, I was considering developing a self-access course for those that would like to learn invaluable skills such as creating an online tutor's profile, marketing yourself, as well as the best way to deliver first lessons with potential students.
However, I soon realised that such a course would limit interaction with course participants, and I really want to chat to subscribers. I decided to introduce a Community here on YouTube with ELT Experiences for those that would like to share their support.
Joining the Community will be £4.99 per month, which you can cancel at anytime, with great benefits such as bi-monthly webinars and online meet-ups with me where participants can share their experiences, ask questions and network with other language tutors, regardless whether they teach online or face-to-face. Community Members will have early access to public video content as well as vote towards polls which would influence future video content.
Such support would also help me invest towards additional gear to create quality videos for you. Creating videos takes time and costs a lot, with me hoping to purchase equipment such as lighting, another camera (so I can have multi-cam or overhead shots) as well as wireless microphones so future videos could be shot outdoors. Nevertheless, should you decide not to join as a member, then that's fine also. You will still have access to weekly videos that I share on YouTube.
I would like to thank everyone's support so far and this Channel has grown to over 14,000 subscribers. I never once thought that this would be possible but I really appreciate everyone watching, commenting and subscribing to ELT Experiences.
