Joe Biden on Vacation at the Beach
Former President Donald Trump slammed current President Joe Biden for his extended stay at the beach. During a #trumprally on Thursday, Trump asked, “Do we even have a #President?”
“He just got back from #California. He was supposed to go to the White House. He never got there. He went to Delaware, and he’s laying on a beach sleeping all day long.” he continued. “Who the hell wants to sleep? And who wants to sleep in public? He’s sleeping!”
Trump added, “You think President Xi is at a beach sleeping?”
Trump’s comment comes after Biden dropped out of the race and has been enjoying a relaxed schedule.
After his speech at the #Democratic #National #Convention, he traveled to California and then to his beach home in Delaware. For the last 18 days, the only item on his public schedule has been to receive the president’s #daily brief.
White House deputy press secretary Emilie Simons said in a statement, “As with all Administrations, there is no such thing as a presidential ‘#vacation.’ The President is always working wherever he goes. Anyone claiming anything otherwise is either misinformed or engaged in misinformation.”
