I still cannot believe I was supposed to go to Stanford but had to cancel 🥲 Oh well, not everything in life can always go as you would like it to go. Nevertheless, before I started my process of applying for research internships, I had no idea what I was supposed to do. However, over the past months of applying for research internships and getting offers from Stanford (!!! still cannot fully believe it) and also the University of Oslo (which maybe sounds less impressive, but I am still super excited to go 😄) I feel I have discovered some tips and tricks that you can use to increase your chances of getting a research internship. And of course, I would love to share these with you today.

🌟 About A Life of Learning
Are you a student or recent graduate struggling to find out what exactly to do with this thing called life?
Well, me too, but hopefully we can figure it out together ❤️🙃
My name is Jaël and I am a 23-year-old master's student Educational Sciences from the Netherlands. A Life of Learning is a community of young people passionate about learning and self-development. The idea for this channel came from one simple question: how can one live a good and impactful life, while also enjoying the ride and staying happy, healthy, and sane in the process? Or in other words: how to be your best self, but then not in the capitalist productivity=everything kind of way?
Drawing from my knowledge as an educational scientist to-be, as well as my own experiences as a young person striving to be the best I can be, I create videos on topics such as study tips, organization tips, mental health, and occasionally the meaning of life. So that hopefully we can figure out this thing called life together.
