Deleting a repository on GitHub is the process of permanently removing a repository and all of its contents (including files, issues, pull requests, and commit history) from your GitHub account.
This action is irreversible, meaning that once you delete a repository, it cannot be recovered.
🔶STEPS🔶
To delete a repository in GitHub,
1. Open GitHub.com in one of the web browsers.
2. Click on your profile picture.
3. Select "Your Profile" from the drop-down menu.
4. Click on the Repositories tab to view all your repositories.
5. Find and open the repository you want to delete.
6. Now, click on the Settings tab.
7. Scroll down to the Danger Zone section and click on the Delete this repository button.
8. To confirm, click on the "I want to delete this repository" button.
9. Again, click on the "I have read and understand these effects" button.
10. Type your username/repository name and click on the "Delete this repository" button.
Your repository has now been successfully deleted.
By following these simple steps, you can easily delete a repository from your GitHub account.
