A quick look at the overhead router - over arm router - woodworking machine doing a simple operation. Just a bit of an insight into my previous life doing this eight hours a day five days a week and more. Back then it was on the larger Wadkin LS router machines, built like tanks. Some even had the war department arrow on, being previously used to manufacture wooden glider components during WW2 as part of the war effort. A lot of my mentors on this machine were involved in the production during that period. Great respect, very humble guys, still got all my fingers. I've left the guard off for this video just for a better view. No way would I run this machine like this without a guard, it's too risky. More small wood machining videos to follow.
