A map of Free City, the city that the game in the film takes place in, is actually a map of Portland, Oregon. In fact, the "stash house" that Jodie Comer's character wants to break into is shown as being located in Portland's Forest Park. Interesting enough, the fictional city of 'Free City' is based on Liberty City found in Grand Theft Auto III, a popular Rockstar game released in 2001, and Grand Theft Auto IV, another Rockstar game released in 2008. Liberty City, meanwhile, was inspired by New York.
