The Big Beehive Hike in Banff Canada | Exploring Lake Louise
One of the best things to do in Banff National Park is the Big Beehive hike departing from the shores of Lake Louise.
This is my favorite overall hike in Banff. Not only are the views of Lake Louise from atop the Big Beehive incredible, but you'll pass a number of great stops along the way.
You'll start your journey from the shores of Lake Louise and the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise before hiking up into the nearby forest.
Your first stop will be Mirror Lake, which sits near the base of the Big Beehive.
After a brief break here hikers will continue on to Lake Agnes and the Lake Agnes Tea House.
The lake is beautiful and it makes for the perfect backdrop to enjoy a cup of tea before making your final push to the summit of the Big Beehive.
