Hi everyone welcome to my channel Project Smart Home.
I've named this channel Project Smart Home as I have realized that creating my Smart Home is a never ending project. There's always more Smart Home gadgets that you can buy and more cool automatons that you can introduce to make life easier. It would also be very expensive to try and do everything you want to in a short period of time.
I'm going to be using this channel to talk about my Smart Home experiences over the last few years, I'll take you through my Smart home automation journey, using Smart Home platforms from Amazon, Google, SmartThings and now Home Assistant.
There's a few lessons that I learnt along the way that I'm sure you can benefit from, whether your new to creating a Smart Home or an existing Smart Home enthusiast like me. Like with anything in life there are good and bad things, I'll give you my personal view of the products I'm using and let you know what you should avoid.
I'll share with you what cool Smart Home tech I'm using around my house and how I'm automating things to make life easier for me and my family.
I'll also talk about how much my smart house has cost me "so far" and I'll be sharing with you any new smart home projects.
